Ted Lane
Bernard Theodore “Ted” Lane received his formal education at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, graduating with a B.A. in 1962. In addition to a Mentoring program by three outstanding senior executives with multinational responsibilities, Ted’s background also includes Instructor Training by Dale Carnegie Courses and Success Motivation Institute (SMI). With SMI he is certified to teach a series of Personal Effectiveness, Sales, and Management Training Programs.
Ted’s corporate experience includes 14 years with PFC (a MacMillan Publishing subsidiary). Before his departure in 1976, Ted achieved positions of National Trainer, #1 Sales Manager in the world, Regional Sales Manager of Western Canada and Regional Sales Manager of the Northwestern United States.
During the second half of his career, Ted’s focus shifted to being a personal coach and confidential advisor to business owners and managers, salespeople, and other professionals who need to improve their personal effectiveness. His clients are predominantly achievers who already know what to do and how to do it, but for some reason find themselves unable to take the appropriate action. Ted specializes in shattering longstanding patterns of that type. Ted has also authored and taught programs in: Eliminating Invisible Barriers, Dissolving Performance Blocks, How to Meet, Connect with, and Remember People, Divorce the Fourth Alternative, and Beyond Conflict Resolution and Counseling. Ted Lane now oversees development of all training programs and trains corporate executive teams.
Ted is happily married to his wife Irene, is the proud father of Ed, Sherrisa, Kim, Jackie, Ken, Jason, Jeff, Jamieko, and grandfather to 13 wonderful children.
